One Lie And The Truth

What is love, if the love is not loved

Showered with diamonds and roses, but still unloved

Could this be the real deal, when they uttered “I love you”

But who really knows if that love is true

Repeat the phrase, again and again

Though the more you say it, the more it’s like pretend

Inevitable, the lies unraveled and the truth is what I found

That a family already existed, before I came around
